SRA’s new publication Cane Matters will hit letterboxes throughout the industry this week.

The magazine will be produced quarterly and replaces  CaneConnection (formerly produced quarterly for growers) and Milling Matters (produced twice a year for millers). The name is a strong statement about the importance of the sugarcane industry to regional communities and economies – Cane Matters.

The aim is to present easily read topical stories about SRA’s collaborative work with people, research, issues and developments across the whole sugarcane industry.

By having everything together in one magazine the idea is to promote a broader understanding of the challenges in both the growing and milling sectors our research is intended to address.

The publication is now available to view online as a flip book or to download as a PDF here. Print copies will be available at SRA stations and offices.
