July brought fresh opportunities for growers to secure pricing above $500/tonne gross actual in the 2021 Season, as the October 2021 ICE 11 contract skyrocketed to 18.49 USc/lb amid fears of a widespread frost potentially providing further damage to the already underperforming Brazilian crop. As the forward sugar curve began to normalise, 2022-Season prices also started to climb to attractive levels, with the highest 2022 Target Price Contract order filled to date being $485/tonne actual.
